  has two main goals

Knowledge
+ Network

We want to build a deep understanding of equity and capacity for collective impact around priority community issues and to build a network of engaged fellows/alumni, mentors, community advisors, and faculty with strong personal and professional relationships.

Our Impact

in Numbers

11

Cohorts

Each cohort runs from September through June, with monthly learning sessions, augmented by a 6 month board shadowing experience and a match with an experienced community leader mentor.

135

Fellows/Alumni

Our investment in talent will result in a total of 135 program graduates by June 2026, forming a critical mass of leaders who are directly driving positive change in our community.

100

Board Engaged

To date, we have successfully partnered with 100 distinct governing boards, joining forces to advance shared objectives.

Our Impact

We protect the privacy of our fellows, but here's some thoughts and quotes from ELF Alumni.

01

Active Advocacy

"No longer will I stay silent. I will continue to advocate for individuals who are being
marginalized and oppressed."

02

Civic Belonging

"I have realized the importance of the network. We're all interconnected [...] the fact that I can consider calling NH home is a big step for me because of what ELF did for me."

03

Empowered Action

"In my professional life I was quiet or shy. As I learned more from this program, I started to use my voice more in the different groups I'm in... What I'll do differently as a result is try to get into more leadership positions to address the equity issue. I always wanted to do it, but didn't believe in myself until I went through this program."

04

Community and Belonging

“I now feel like I’ve found my tribe!
The Equity Leaders Fellowship has changed me by introducing me to friends and colleagues that are like-minded and share the same values.”
